    Constanta is Romania's largest commercial port on the Black Sea and the capital of the county of the same name. It has around 284 thousand inhabitants. Known for the canal linking it to the Danube, it serves as the main transit port for the Danube countries. It is also a popular tourist destination thanks to the Mamaia resort, which offers 8 km of sandy beaches.
